Deco Relief Intense Black Food Colour, 50g
This intense black food colour is ideal for colouring macarons, patisserie, sugar-work, cakes, and icing. The intense black food colouring would work brilliantly in Halloween macarons and cakes, and can be used to paint black detailing onto fondant icing.
This range of intense colours was developed by Stéphane Klein, the World Champion sugar-craft artist, who makes spectacular sculptures from coloured and blown sugar from his studio in Belfort, north-east France. Deco’relief products are used by top chefs and patissiers across France, in cakes, macarons, ganaches, sorbets, ice-creams, sweets and chocolates.
The black food colour is water soluble. For maximum effect, dilute in a small amount of water before use. Recommended use is 1tsp of colouring in 1tsp water to colour 2kg of sugar. Contains 50g, or approx 60ml, or 12 tsp – enough for 24kg sugar.
