The oil is made with Tonda Iblea olives which are native to the island. They are grown in the Cutrera olive groves, just a few hundred metres from the mill. The olives are cold-pressed within hours of harvest for maximum freshness and flavour.
This Italian olive oil is smooth and full-bodied. You can use it for cooking and as a finishing oil for salads and seafood. The bold, fruity taste can stand up to red meat and rich sauces.
Green-gold in colour, the oil has a complex aroma. Inhale deeply to discover notes of cut grass, herbs and tomato. On the palate, there is minimal bitterness and acidity.
