SPROMAX – Reverse Osmosis System – Commercial Use

The PROMAX Reverse Osmosis system offers ground breaking advances in RO system design. Using the latest thin film composite (TFC) membrane technology – extra low-pressure membranes produce deionised water very efficiently resulting in minimum power usage and surprisingly low running costs.

The compact design of the ‘common rail’ frame and control panel has created a machine with varying capacities and capabilities at very favourable prices.

This machine has the following design features and requirements:

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Output (Max): 1200 litres/hour

  • System Controller: Automatic with in-built TDS meter
  • Automatic Flush: Periodic + Flush on Start/Stop

SYSTEM OPTIONS

Additional custom-built pre-filtration can be supplied including water softening systems for hard water areas.

FEED WATER REQUIREMENTS

This system is designed for use with clean pressurised water – recommended minimum water specification is detailed below

  • Maximum Operating Temperature: 45oC (113oF)
  • Maximum Operating Pressure: 120 psi (8 bar)
  • pH Range: 2-11
  • Maximum Feed Silt Density Index: SDI 5
  • Free Chlorine Tolerance: <0.1ppm after carbon filtration
  • Iron (Dissolved): <0.5ppm
  • Maximum TDS: 500ppm

PRE-FILTRATION

In hard and medium water areas, a duplex water softener must be fitted. Additional pre-filtration may be required to control pollutants like chlorine (high levels) suspended solids and iron etc.

POST FILTRATION

Reverse Osmosis product water (permeate) can be post-treated to produce higher quality water – please contact your installer or Saniworld for further details.
