Bowers & Wilkins CCM684 8″ in ceiling speakers (Pair)
The B&W CCM684 speakers are the bottom of three different 8″ in ceiling speakers from Bowers & Wilkins. However, this doesn’t mean they are lacking in quality, and are in fact our most popular 8″ in ceiling speaker from B&W with most customers preferring to save a bit of money but still get the great quality associated with B&W.
We’ve installed these in a wide range of different homes and these speakers work well in most spaces. If your room is very small we’d recommend looking at the 6″ series of in ceiling speakers or alternatively even at the stereo dual tweeter single in ceiling speakers. However, if you have a medium to large room these could be the right speakers for you.
The sound quality on these speakers is good, and we commonly use these on large installations requiring multiple sets of in ceiling speakers and can highly recommend them. The speaker features a 200mm (8in) woven glass fibre cone bass/midrange driver and a soft dome tweeter. The higher end in ceilings have a Nautlius designed tweeter which does add more to the top end, but these are still great quality.
The speaker comes with a round grille as standard, but you can add the optional 68 grille to your speaker to transform it into a square speaker.
